About

Gemastik FIF is a 24-hour online CTF hacking game. Well, it is a competition of sorts.

Welcome to the Faculty of Informatics Cyber Security Competition! We present a platform to test participants abilities in identifying, preventing, and resolving cyber security issues in computer systems or networks.

With a series of challenging tasks, participants will compete to find effective solutions within a given time frame and document their steps in a Write-up report.

This competition not only offers the chance to compete but also to network with cyber security professionals and fellow participants, while raising awareness about the importance of cyber security in today's digital era.

Rules

We try hard to keep the competition as free and exciting as possible; however, we do require players to adhere to a few simple rules:

The competition will be held online via a link that will be provided later.
The competition format is Jeopardy with a total of 10+ questions.
The competition will take place over 24 hours. (May 16, 2024 for Competition Time and May 17, 2024 for Write-Up).
Each team must create and submit a write-up to a link that will be announced later. The write-up must include the question title, flag, and brief steps to solve it, and must be submitted no later than 12 hours after the competition ends (the platform and questions will remain open until the write-up submission deadline).
Teams found or suspected of violating the above rules will face penalties, which may include point deductions or disqualification from the competition.
Teams that fail to submit their write-up on time or do not submit it at all will receive a score of 0.
